The important work of the New Group of World Servers is to bring into the consciousness of humanity the purpose of creating a world where kindness, compassion and harmony prevail; where the soul in all is seen and recognized; where true need – rather than demand – directs the sharing of resources; where outer appearances are outshone by the light of the soul within each one; where opposing forces dissolve into shared realization of the interconnectedness of everything in the world.
This so far humanity, as a whole, has failed to do. The great Universal Law of Cause and Effect, inherent in our planetary earthly life, applies to all, including nations, and therefore cannot be avoided.
Over the centuries Avatars have imbedded themselves in earthly life to bring this wisdom into the conscious of humanity since the beginning of the individualisation of the human race, in an effort to aid us all to a recognition where outer distinctions of forms are seen simply as the varied expressions of manifestation. This includes all the kingdoms, mineral, vegetable and animal as well as the fourth human kingdom which we are presently in.
So, what has gone wrong? We know the world is in upheaval, there are energies and forces at present bursting forth in our world which are not going to stop anytime soon. The great Circulatory Flow of Life wherein all forms are sustained, supported and nourished has to an extent been diverted into negative realms by collective erring thinking and, as we know, as “energy follows thought” so has this negativity manifested itself into the etheric body of humanity.
This wave of the current pandemic is an example of such a manifestation and we are all reaping the consequences of it. The Alice Bailey writings from ‘Esoteric Healing’ outline something about the subject regarding diseases of the respiratory tract and lungs and coronavirus pandemic fits into this category:
“Group ills and the sweep of epidemics of any kind through the masses are founded in some condition in the etheric substance of the planet. Those diseases which are general, national, racial and planetary find their way to an individual via the etheric body…” [p. 25].
Some understanding of the relationship of epidemics to the human and world etheric body will help to bring this into focus. The etheric body – human and world – is the mechanism of pranic life and is part of the great Circulatory Life Flow of energy. When the soul, consciously and with the cooperation of the personality, keeps the body [world and human] full of light, disease we are told will eventually disappear.
This is the challenge which people, nations and their leaders are facing, and this world pandemic is the bombshell with its resulting trauma which serves as notice to all organizations, nations, leaders and citizens that changes must occur.
An examination of the meaning behind the words contained in the Mantram of Unification expresses the changes which could be implemented to achieve this lighted world.
The sons of men are one, and I am one with them.
I seek to love, not hate;
I seek to serve and not exact due service;
I seek to heal, not hurt.
Let pain bring due reward of Light and Love.
Let the Soul control the outer form, and life and all events
And bring to Light the Love that underlies the happenings of the time.
Let vision come and insight.
Let the future stand revealed.
Let inner union demonstrate and outer cleavages be gone.
Let Love prevail.
Let all people love.
The sons of men referred to is, of course, the human race. It is to be realized that we are all equal in the eyes of the soul and that what affects one, affects all. From the United Nations preamble to the Charter, as “wars begin in the minds of men, it is in the minds of men that solutions to peace must be found.” We are told that the great Will of God requires that all people serve. This simply means to selflessly extend the hand of aid and goodwill to all. The Law of Harmlessness posits right speech, thought and action which leads to right human relationships, relationships that recognize that each one has something to offer that will broaden the vision and expand most points of view.
As we begin to understand the underlying causes that create painful conditions and work to redress them, a clear way forward will be found and lighted solutions will emerge. It will be realized that love in action – goodwill – is the equalizer and healer of disagreements, discords, controversy and opposition and aids in the development of resolutions.
This is the work of the new group of world servers, to bring into the consciousness of humanity a new vision for the future, a vision that reflects a world of peace, justice and harmony.
These are momentous times of unprecedented opportunity. Great beneficent forces are aligned behind all servers of the race who carry this vision of creating a world where kindness, compassion peace and harmony can prevail. Together we have the capacity to offset the negative forces that suffocate the Circulatory Flow of life – esoterically the very expression of the ‘breath of life’ itself. As we learn to see with the eyes of the Soul, much will be revealed that has previously lurked in the shadows behind doors of power, position and greed.
Disease is a result of the misuse of force and energy. The development and action of goodwill, which is the will of good intention and motive, will aid in the recovery from this world pandemic. From ‘Esoteric Healing’ we read: “Time alone will demonstrate how successful humanity is in offsetting the penalties which [have so] outraged nature” [p248-9], and under which the world is now suffering.
As we meditate to support the work of the new group of world servers we will do much to advance the vision of a lighted world of peace, justice, harmony and right relationship within all its kingdoms.
